About Jetlasers Laser Goggles
The JetLasers safety glasses is the synthesis of PC and Australia imported light absorbing materials of specific wavelengths. It's highly effective, explosion-proof, and eyes protective. The PC is light weighted, high in toughness and unbreakable, and has been widely recognized and recommended by international security organizations and laser users. Completely meeting the safety requirements of GJB1762-93 "laser protective glasses physical health standards," and it's very comfortable, beautiful and reliable. The JetLasers Safety Glasses applies the optical absorption principle: its target light source is not selective, and one can nearly block any diffusd light radiated from the laser; the incident angle of the light source is not selective either and they receive the equally efficient protection. With faster light reaction and higher damping decrement, these goggles are also anti-wear, and even there is any scratch, the laser safety is not affected. The JetLasers goggles are in compliance with EN207 standard, and passed the CE certification, while CE NO. is NO:AC/0010308.
Eyewear is rated for optical density (OD), which is the base-10 logarithm of the attenuation factor by which the optical filter reduces beam power. For example, eyewear with OD 3 will reduce the beam power in the specified wavelength range by a factor of 1,000. In addition to an optical density sufficient to reduce beam power to below the maximum permissible exposure (see above), laser eyewear used where direct beam exposure is possible should be able to withstand a direct hit from the laser beam without breaking.

WHY DO WE HAVE TO USE LASER SAFETY GOGGLES?
Human eyes are the most sensitive organ of the human body. The laser is made to highly gather the ultra energy and power at the focus within seconds, while our eyes lens also functions as focusing; all combines to make the power in the unit area shot at the retina increases nearly one million times. The laser has great monochromaticity and thus shows little chromatic aberration within the optical fundus, because the pulsed laser injury speed is much faster than the blink reflex: generally speaking, the blink reflex time of human eyes is 150-250ms, while the response of pulsed laser can be as short as 10-6s and even 10-12 S level. Because pulsed laser injury is much faster than the blink reflex (eye blink reflex time is usually 150-250ms, while the laser pulse can be as short as 10-6s and even 10-12 S level). Coupled with a extremely short moment, in a extremely small area, the extremely intense release of the ultra concentration of the energy and power, no wonder even the low doses of laser irradiation may also cause serious damage on the cornea or retina. Moreover, the eye injury caused by laser irradiation is cumulative, so even the little injury is not obvious enough, but don't wait until it's too late.
Why to choose high-end continuous ABSORPTIVE safety goggles rather than other REFLECTIVE goggles in the market?
The plated reflecting medium layers on the optic lens are essential to the reflective goggles, and they're featured with simpler workmanship, higher visible light transmission rate, higher damping ratio and longer photoreaction time.Compared with absorptive goggles, it has the following Defects.
1. The light source is very selective and the the incident light source must be over against the surface of goggles lens, otherwise its protective effect will be greatly weakened.
2. The plated reflecting medium layer is very easily falling off within a short period, and this fall-off cannot be easily detected by naked eyes. This is very dangerous. Most ordinary reflecting medium layers tend to fall off in around a year. The case is that, the higher the damping ratio, the thicker the plated medium layer needs to be added, more easily it will fall off.
The absorbent of specific wavelengths added to the base material-PMMA or PC consists in our high-end absorptive goggles. Though it has little light visibility, it has the essential advantages.
1. The light source is not selective and can protect from any reflection light or diffuse reflection light.
2. The wear and tear on the lens does not affect the protection at all.
3. Higher visible light transmission rate
