808nm, 980nm and 1064nm IR Detect Cards
- Specification
A IR detector card is a great addition to most laser hobbyists and technicians who get in touch with infrared laser light often. This infrared detector card produces a green glow when exposed to IR light in the active region..
The active region of infrared detector card absorbs IR light and continuously re-emits its energy in a visible, green wavelength. No need for charging and recharging with UV light. Its sensitivity at 808nm, 850nm, 904nm, 980nm, and 1064nm infrared lasers makes it ideal for detecting the IR output of consumer electronics remote controls. The card can also be used to detect a wide range of radiometric power levels, from very low levels (when observed in a darkened room), to the hundreds of microwatt power levels output by IR LEDs, to tens of milliwatts of collimated IR laser outputs. The only constraint is not overheating the card. The temperature of the card should not exceed 70° C for extended periods of time.
JL Infrared Detector Cards Specifications:
1. Dimension: 60mm*20mm*2mm for the total card, while the active detector region is 20mm*20mm.
2. Target Wavelength: 800~1600 nm, for example, 808nm, 850nm, 904nm, 980nm, 1064nm, etc.
Applications:
1. IR upconversion material card for YAG / Fiber laser equipment testing
2. IR upconversion material card for IR lasers / LD / LED testing
Notes: The material that makes up the IR detector card consists of many solid atoms, including some impurities. Interactions occur among solid atoms that are relatively close together. Electrons bound to these atoms have allowable energies that are in both excited and ground state bands. The impurities create additional allowable energies in the impurity state band.
Featured with high efficiency, these infrared detector cards can be used in common under light condition and never require previous charging from another sort of light (UV or IR source, for example). When Jetlasers Ir detector cards are used for lasers - common safety precautions must be observed. There are no radioactive and toxic components used, so they are safe even when damaged by extremely high density of IR irradiation (above 109 W/cm2).
These Infrared detector cards can be applied to detect and locate IR radiation from Near IR-light sources such as Nd-YAG lasers, LED and Laser Diodes and to evaluate spatial distribution of laser or LED beam intensity directly.
