Jetlasers PL-D PRO laser dazzler integrates the best features of PL-C laser dazzlers but was designed to work perfectly as ordinary green lasers with low beam divergence and good beam quality, but was equipped with the patented function of with three-range shifts for up to 200m's dazzling and temporarily blinding effect.
The PL-D Laser Dazzlers also use a 532nm green laser that generates a coherently intense beam of green laser beam light. The focal length is adjustable, so as to obtain a narrow or wide beam for illuminating an individual or a group. Two beam modes: Pulse Mode and Continuous Mode. It means that PL-G laser dazzlers have two methods of functioning : a continuous mode which generates a continuous wave of dazzling light to enable the temporary blindness of an individual and a low frequency pulse mode, like a strobe lamp, which can provoke disorientation or confusion in the individual towards whom itis directed.
With the intelligent or readily designed three range shifts which functions as a lite version of range finder, the dazzler laser user can locate the decent beam diameter at preset distances without taking pains and time to screw the focusable mechanism little by little.
The power density of Jetlasers portable green laser dazzlers at their own dazzling distance is around 0.6-2.6mw. In order to warn the user of Nominal Ocular Hazard Distance (NOHD) of each laser dazzlers products, jetlasers divides the portable laser dazzlers into the dazzle level based upon the specific dazzling/temporarily blinding distance., which is is approximately equal to the NOHD value of this particular laser dazzler.
